Welcome to my second home in the South Pacific of glorious Costa Rica. The Osa Peninsula is considered one of the most biodiverse places on the Earth boasting 3% of all species in one little area.

We will explore the famous Osa Penisula, its countless beaches, warm friendly people and the Pura vida lifestyle of the Ticos (pure life in Spanish)
Beach fires, swimming in oh so warm waters and lots of delicious food await.

Our accommodations are all grouped on the same road within 3 minute of the beach and are priced for SINGLE OCCUPANCY!
You may also elect to share with a friend and save appx. 1/3 on the rooms costs.Choice of base room and 3 upgrade levels including Air conditioning option. Rooms are one of a kind and you will be booking a specific room.
All accommodations, transfers and activities included after you arrive in Drake.
Flights and transportation to Drake Bay are NOT included but I am more than happy to help make arrangments. Drake Bay can be reached by BUS or PLANE. Also by boat once you reach Sierpe.

Costs are based on SINGLE occupancy including most everything except transport to Drake itself. All payments will be taken in Canadian dollars.

As a busy professional woman, this is exactly what the doctor ordered. I had a wonderful vacation with all the details looked after for me. I just had to show up and enjoy whatever activities were planned. So nice not have to think and make decisions all the time. Head North on the coast to experience the artsy bohemian vibes of Dominical! More established on the tourist trail it has more shops, dining and shopping opportunities. The town of Uvita and the infamous whales tail is close making Dominical a perfect spot to explore the area.
+ 2 NIghts Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs
End your week at the beach in style & comfort visiting on the wonderful hot spring hotels at the base of the volcano! Choose your perfect tempurture and soak all your muscles and relax in naturally heated mineral water. Enjoy the wild life and birds of a much different elevation to the beach.
I can arrange transportation and include meals for everything. Transportation time between destinations varies. Leave 1 night extra to get to Arenal unless flying back to San Jose.

How do I get there ?
Depending on where you are coming from there are many options!
Getting to Costa Rica
Depending on where you are coming from, Costa Rica is most easily accessible by commercial airplane for most of my clients. Many carriers fly direct into the country or you can catch a connecting flight to save money.Costa Rica boasts 2 INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS. While you can fly into either, the Osa Peninsula is located much closer to the SAN JOSE AIRPORT.
Once in San Jose, there are many options on how to reach Drake bay.

REMEMBER our 5 day experiences run Sunday 3 p.m. to Friday 3 p.m. please ensure you book your international flights with enough time to get to Drake Bay!!
Getting to Drake Bay
Drake Bay is located in the very South Pacific on Costa Rica, only a few hours from Panama. Depending on how quickly you want to arrive, there are quite a few options. Let me know if you need help arranging your transport from Drake Bay.
By Air: Drake Bay is served by a small airport and can be reached directly from either of the international airports or many cities in Costa Rica! Small carriers come & go but the national airline Sansa is always there. This small hopper plans takes only appx 35 minutes over rugged, spectacular coastline to reach us.
By Car: Rent a 4×4 and prepare for a crazy adventure. The road from San Jose down to the coast and along the pacific highwy is decent and will take you appx 6-7 hours. The drive from Palmar Northe requires a 4 x 4 and can flooded out. You may also park the car at Sierpe and take the boat in as below.
By Bus: Grab a bus from the San Jose trapoca station for an affordable and easy way to the coast. These large greyhound type buses will take you as far as Palmar Northe or Sierpe.
By Boat: Do like the locals and take the River Taxis from the town of Sierpe up the river and over to our main beach! they will drop you off minutes from your accommodations.

What should I pack?
Less is more in the jungle!!
You will be living in your bathing suits or fast drying easy wear clothes as we adventure and play in the jungle. An excellent light weight shoe, plenty of sunscreen and bugspray along with a hat are the basic. Check out the PRINTABLE PDF from My Tan feet, a regular in Costa Rica!
